Your Senior Cat

When your cat reaches the age of 8 years age and up, your cat should have a wellness examination twice a year as well as annual vaccinations and a Rabies vaccination every 3 years. At this age your cat should also switch to a senior formulated cat food that is suited to his or her nutritional needs.

Because Renal failure is the most common cause of a cats’ demise, blood work should be done at least once a year. These tests run very quickly on our state of the art in house rapid laboratory testing equipment and will determine kidney function.

We have used Driggs vet clinic for nearly 20 years now, and trust Don. He has always taken extremely good care of our animals and has been so sympathetic through the loss of three family pets. A down to earth approach to animal care that is kind and gentle.
